The addition of an administrator account to your community requires your own account to have certain permissions. Typically, existing Athletic Directors or League Directors have the required permissions. If you do not, contact support@doodlio.com.
Step 1: Create an account for the administrator.
If the member already has an account, proceed to the next step.
- Click Manage Members on your home dashboard.
- Click the Add Members button in the upper right.
- Enter address information if you have it. Address is optional.
- Enter the administrator's first name, last name, email address, and cell phone number. Email address is required for the administrator to be able to login. Cell phone is optional, but will allow the administrator to receive certain messages as SMS text messages.
- Click the Submit button to create the account.
Step 2: Assign the athletic director role to the member account.
When you add a new account, a read only summary of the account will be displayed. (If you're adding the permissions to an existing member account, use Manage Members to first look up the member record, then proceed with these steps).
- Click the Edit button in upper right of the member summary display.
- Under Family Profile, click on the name of the member you just added.
- Click on the Roles tab.
- Click the check boxes for the roles you want to assign. For a new athletic director, for example, click the check box next to Athletic Director.
- Note: the Community Admin role is a "super user" role that has permissions to see or do anything in your account.
- Click the update button to save your changes.
The member account will now have administrator permissions. If you created a new account for the member, they will need to register their account on the doodlio.com website. Please provide these instructions to assist them:
- Go to www.doodlio.com
- Click the Register button in the upper right corner
- Enter your email address and click Next
- The system will show you a prompt that it will send you an invitation code to join the community. Click Send Invitation
- Lookup the invitation code in your email (or text message if you selected that option)
- Back on the Doodlio website, enter the invitation code, create a password, reenter the password for confirmation, and click Register
