Users will typically get the best experience using the Doodlio app to exchange messages with other members of their community. But Doodlio can also deliver messages and notifications to your email inbox.
You can enable email delivery as a default for all groups that you belong to or for specific groups (or teams).
Set Email Delivery as Default
This approach will enable email delivery by default for all groups that you belong to or that you join in the future.
1. Access the Doodlio website at https://www.doodlio.com.
2. Click the Login button in the upper right side of the window and enter your email address and password to login.
3. Click on the menu link for your personal space. This link is the first option in the left side menu and is named after you. For example, if your name is Cindy the name of your personal space will be @Cindy.
4. On the right side of the screen, click on the Notifications Settings link. This will cause a popup window to appear that displays options for receiving different types of notifications from Doodlio.
5. Select the options that meet your preferences. Click the arrow at the upper left of the popup window to close the Notification Settings window.
Set Email Delivery for a Group
You can override your default settings (see above) for any group. These steps apply to any type of group - a community group, teams, volunteer groups, and so on.
1. In the left side menu, click on the menu link for the group for which you want to customize settings.
2. On the right side of the screen, click on the Notifications Settings link. This will cause a popup window to appear that displays options for receiving different types of notifications from Doodlio.
3. Select the options that meet your preferences. Click the arrow at the upper left to close the Notification Settings window.
