Send a picture or file as an attachment

You can easily send pictures or files to everyone on the team by attaching them to messages. The attachment options appear at the bottom of the message input box. 

Send a File

Note: The options that appear on your screen may vary slightly from the description below based on the phone you are using (iPhone or Android) and operating system running on your phone.

Click the paperclip icon. This will cause a menu to appear with three options:

• Add a picture - click this option to add a picture or file saved on your phone. Follow your phone's prompts to locate and select a file
• Attach a file from the group library - select a file that was previously uploaded to the team's group
• Attach a file from your personal library - select a file that you previously uploaded to your personal space

Once you have selected a file, a dialog will appear that allows you to enter an optional message to send with the file. Click the send button to send the attached file.

Send a Picture

Click on the camera icon in the message area. Your phone will display the camera app. Simply snap a picture and select the picture when you are satisfied with it.  A dialog will appear that allows you to enter an optional message to send with the picture. Click the send button to send the picture as a message attachment.

Send a Video

Click on the video camera icon in the message area. Your phone will display the camera app in video mode. Record a video and select it when you are satisfied with it.  A dialog will appear that allows you to enter an optional message to send with the video. Click the send button to send the video as a message attachment.

Send a Voice Message

Click on the microphone icon in the message area. Your phone will display a voice recording app. Record a message and select it when you are satisfied with it.  A dialog will appear that allows you to enter an optional message to send with the voice message. Click the send button to send the voice message as a message attachment.
