Getting Started with Doodlio Registration for School Sports

Doodlio Registration is an easy to use yet powerful solution that is optimized for the unique requirements of school sports. 

How does it work?

• You setup online registration for a sport, including forms that you need to collect from registrants, if any. Registration forms can include anything you need, such as waivers, participation agreements, or forms with sports specific questions. 
• We give you a link to the registration that you can email to your users, or you can embed the registration so that it appears to be a part of your website.
• Your members use the online registration to create profiles, complete forms, and submit payment (online payment is optional but makes it much easier for your families when registering). Members who have existing accounts will reuse their existing profiles.

You can deploy a new sports registration in minutes:

• On the main dashboard, or in the left menu, click Sports Management. The Sports Management dashboard will be displayed.
• Click Online Registration Management to access the online registration dashboard.
• Click on the Online Registration Setup link under the Setup Online Registration heading. The Manage Registrations screen will be displayed.
• Click the Add a Registration button in the upper right
• Follow the instructions to Update settings for school sports registration
• Once you complete those instructions, your registration is ready to test
• Follow the instructions How to test your registration to give it a try

You will typically want to customize your registration to fit the unique needs of your community. This might include customizing confirmation messages and adding online forms.

Before setting up your first registration

There are a couple of one-time setup tasks that may be necessary before setting up your first registration.

Get setup up for payment processing

If you plan to allow members to pay during registration, you'll need to setup a Doodlio merchant account (if you have not already set one up). Setting up a new account is easy, but can take a few days to process.

Setup reusable Community Forms

Most organizations maintain a core set of standard forms that are used throughout the year, such as waivers and media releases. Community Forms allow you to define reusable online forms. If your organization has not previously created the Community Forms your registration will use, follow these instructions to create Community Forms.

If your registration will use special purpose, one time use forms, you can create those during the registration setup process.
