You can customize the registration options and behavior with registration settings. The following options are available on the settings screen.
Registration Name
Registration name is an internal name visible only to administrators. It is used to identify registrations in lists on administrative screens.
Registration Title
The title will appear to users in the header of the registration webpage. The title should typically describe the purpose of the registration, such as "2023 Basketball Registration".
Description
Description is only visible to administrators and is useful for providing additional context regarding the purpose of the registration.
Sports Period
A sports period typically represents a sports year, or in the case of a school sport, the school year for which the sport is active. Sports periods are defined by the league administrator.
Select a single sport or setup a multi-sport registration
When setting up a registration, you will select the sport or sports for which parents will register their children. If your school is part of a league, the available sports may be defined by the league administrator. Regardless of whether your school is part of a league, you have the ability to define available sports using the Sports Setup admin screen.
Single sport registration
If this registration is for a single sport, select the option "This registration is for a specific sport" and select the sport from the sports selection drop down list. Then proceed to Status field input.
Multiple sport registration
If you want parents to be able to register their players for multiple sports, select the "Allow registrations for multiple sports" option.
A list of available sports will be shown. Click the checkbox next to each sport you want to offer in this registration. For each registration you select, enter:
- A price for the sport, if applicable
- Select which grade and gender can apply for the sport. When registering their players, parents will only see the registrations that are available to them based on grade and gender.
In the example below, two sports are selected:
- 2022 Tackle Football, with a price of $150 per player. Boys in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will be able to register
- 2022 Basketball, with a price of $100. Girls and boys in 3rd grade through 8th grade will be allowed to register
Status
Status controls whether the registration is available to end users. Typically a registration status will be set to active. If you do not want your users to be able to access the registration any longer, change the status to hidden.
