Testing your Registration
It is strongly recommended that you either:
- Log out of Doodlio before testing the registration
- Test the registration in a completely different browser than the one you are using to access Doodlio
- Test the registration in an incognito (or private browsing) session
Copy the registration link that appears under your registration on the Manage Registrations page.
In the browser you want to use for testing, paste the copied link into your browser bar to begin testing your registration.
Test on your phone
To test the registration on your phone, email the link to yourself. Open the email on your phone, copy the link, and paste it into your phone's browser to begin testing.
If your registration accepts payments
If your registration will accept payments, you should set it to use the merchant Test Account before you begin testing. This will allow you to enter fake credit card information to test the complete payment workflow. To set the registration to use the Test Account
- On the Manage Registrations screen, click the registration you want to test
- Click on the Edit Registration Settings link
- In the Online Payment Processing section, locate the Merchant Account information. Change the drop down list to the Test Account option.
- If you do not see an option for Test Account, contact support@doodlio.com and we'll set it up for you.
- Click Update Registration Settings to save your change
The registration link that appears under your registration on the Manage Registrations page will automatically link to a test system.
If you want to enter credit card payment information while testing your registration, enter:
- Credit card number 4242 4242 4242 4242
- Expiration date as any date in the future
- CVV as any 3 or 4 digit number
- Other information on the credit card form can be completely made up
- Follow the instructions below to test your registration.
The information above will allow a "successful" payment while using the Test Account.
If your registration does not accept payments
There are no changes necessary if your registration does not accept payment. The registration link that appears under your registration on the Manage Registrations page will automatically link to the production system. Follow the instructions below to test your registration.
