Use Announcements to read important team updates in one place.
Quick steps
Open a team from Home or My Teams & Groups.
Select the Announcements tab.
Scroll through the announcement feed.
Open View recipients or use Acknowledge when those actions appear.
What you’ll see
At the top of the page, you’ll see:
the team name
the Announcements tab
If you have permission, you may also see:
Send Announcement
Announcements are grouped by day, such as:
Today
Yesterday
a formatted date like Tue, Mar 17
Announcement cards can show:
a title such as Game updated, Game canceled, New event, or Announcement
a source or kind such as Schedule, Event, Announcement, or System
a sender name or Doodlio, program or league administrators
a time
announcement state labels such as:
✓ Acknowledged
Archived
If there are no announcements, the page shows:
We didn't find any announcements
What you can do
In Announcements, parents can use actions such as:
Acknowledge
Reactions
View recipients
Show more of message (for longer announcements)
Show all of message
Announcements vs Chat
Use Announcements for important team updates.
Use Chat for the team conversation.
Unlike Chat, the Announcements tab does not use the Team Chat channel bar or a message box at the bottom.
